All 25 ATAC Athletes complete the brutal Ironman Wales course, securing enough team points for ATAC to rank second Club of the day. We are all very pleased with this outstanding result for a club formed less than 5 months earlier. The support was fantastic and the achievements of those involved will go down as outstanding in the club's first year.
We had an excellent start to the Summer Coaching Programme with this first session in North Dock, run by Oliver Simon. A very informative couple of hours on Open Water skills was followed by a run session with tips on technique, pacing and how to get the best out of your run training. The feedback from club members afterwards was fantastic. All looking forward to the next session.

We are pleased to announce that our kit design has been approved in principle by British Cycling. Next steps will include amending the design with sponsor logos before final approval … special thanks to NoPinz (http://www.nopinz.com) for their efforts in juggling this through for us.
ATAC is please to announce that our club application to CTT has been approved by the South Wales District committee. We are now affiliated to look at our own TT events and members can represent ATAC at CTT governed events.
Our first chaingang evening took place tonight, leaving TRJ (Foundry Rd, Ammanford) at 6:30pm. Sounds like it was a fantastic success. The members worked to the slowest rider and ensure everyone arrived home safe. We'll be trying this out as a regular feature for Thursday evenings. Please check the club Calendar.
The Club Captain and Welfare Officer threw their bodies on the line tonight, attempting the first North Dock dip of the season (nearly season). What more can you ask of them …. 300m later, we now have it confirmed that it's still March!
